Introduction
I am preparing for my 1st year of teaching 3rd Grade in the fall of 2021.
💁I am an experienced educator with 8 years of classroom instructional experience ranging from 2nd grade to 5th grade to middle school. I also worked for 6 years as the assistant to the Vice President for Education for Imagine Schools, a national charter school company based out of Arlington, Virginia. In that role I led teachers, principals and leaders to create and implement schoolwide systems and practices in character development and assisted with coaching and teaching in academic achievement as well.
😁Upon beginning the Level 1 cohort, I became aware of the myriad of ways that diving deeper into understanding tools provided in the Google Educators toolkit can benefit me professionally and personally as well. I completed the cohort and took the exam.
I was delighted to learn I passed the Level 1 Google Educator exam and want to continue to hone my skills and take it to the next level. 👌 I am excited about the variety of ways I can encourage my students, support parents, and collaborate with my colleagues using Google Educator tools.
Krystal, I'm SO EXCITED to have you back for Level 2! You did so awesome through the Level 1 cohort and I love that you're diving into your first year of 3rd grade with all these wonderful tools and ideas. This summer will be all about going deeper with the ones you know and love and hopefully learning about a few new tools that you may consider implementing into your classroom or using personally. Your dedication to life-long learning is what makes you (and everyone else taking on LEVEL 2) so amazing! Have fun! Can't wait to hear about your big take-aways from this experience!
